“Will take appropriate legal action against the newspaper El Mundo”: Barcelona Lash Out After Details Of Messi’s 492 Million Pound Contract Were Leaked

The club’s top scorer was far from pleased as he sat fuming in his car

The true nature of a man is said to be revealed once the going gets tough. Adversity is said to bring the best out in a person and the same has been on show with Lionel Messi as well.

Managing to put on a façade of being the gregarious and nice guy as results swung in Barcelona’s favour, Messi has failed to keep on that mask across the last couple of seasons. With his side regressing as a unit, so has Messi with the player often seen lashing out both away from the pitch on it.

Messi Fumes Over Supporter’s Action

The same was on show recently as well with the La Liga side’s leading scorer seen miffed as he sat in the territory of his side’s stadium inside his car. Messi ended up hitting out at a supporter who was filming him without any provocation.

“Why do you keep filming the same video if you have already done this many times?

“They’ve already made a lot of videos. You can’t spend all day here. Do you think it’s normal doing the same every time? Stop,” Messi said in the video which has surfaced of him.

Messi’s angst is said to be another indicator of him growing increasingly discontent at the club. Despite bleeding the club’s coffers and running them to the ground, Messi is said to continue to remain dissuaded with his role at the club.

The player most recently ended up missing a crucial penalty for his side against PSG, one which doomed Barcelona to making an exit from the Champions League in the round of 16 stage. The club only has the La Liga trophy left to scour for at the moment.

The side will be up against Huesca in its most recent engagement come today. A fourth successive win in the league would take the club to second place in the league and within a measly four points of table toppers Atletico Madrid.
