The likes of Aguero, Costa and Ibrahimovic will battle it out to become the sole striker for the PL team. Ronaldo and Messi will make up two out of the front three for the La Liga team but who will be the third member out of Bale, Benzema, Suarez, Neymar and Greizmann?

To make the selection process easier both teams will play a 4-3-3 formation. In this edition we are selecting the Premier League XI.

Goalkeeper:  David De Gea

The best goalkeeper in the PL bar none. There is a reason that De Gea has been Man Utd’s player of the year for three consecutive years. He has sometimes single handedly won points for a poor Man Utd side in the last few years.

Before the arrival of Pogba and Ibrahimovic this summer, De Gea was the only world class player at Old Trafford for the last few seasons.

De Gea will have to be at his best if he needs to thwart a La Liga attack comprising of both Ronaldo and Messi! (The Best of England vs The Best of Spain – Premier League XI)

Defenders:  Danny Rose, John Terry, Laurent Koscielny, Hector Bellerin

Danny Rose has been sensational for Spurs ever since Pochettino took charge at White Hart Lane. His speed up and down the flanks will be complemented by another speed demon in Hector Bellerin down the opposite flank.

John Terry will be at the heart of the defense as he is still one of the best defenders in England. (The Best of England vs The Best of Spain – Premier League XI)

He will be partnered by Kos the Boss as the Arsenal skipper has blossomed into one of the best in the world.

Midfielders:  Paul Pogba, Mesut Ozil, Kevin De Bryune

While he has not really taken the league by storm yet, Paul Pogba is still one of the best players in the world today. He will eventually come good for Manchester United and his presence in this midfield is totally warranted.

Mesut Ozil is one of the few players who has played in both the PL and La Liga and would probably have made it into the La Liga team had he still been with Madrid. Nevertheless, the German magician will partner another midfield genius in between the defense and the midfield.

KDB is currently the best player in the Premier League and for good measure. He can score goals and also pick a pass which makes him a superb player. Pep has given his nod of approval to KDB and for that to come from him is very high praise indeed.

Attackers:  Alexis Sanchez, Sergio Aguero, Zlatan Ibrahimovic

The left and right flanks were easy decisions as Sanchez and Aguero take up those two spots. Alexis has been a revelation at Arsenal ever since he moved from Barcelona to London and has taken the league by storm. (The Best of England vs The Best of Spain – Premier League XI)

While Eden Hazard was considered his dip in form for the last year and a half is the reason why we are shifting Aguero to the right flank. One of the greatest goal scorers in PL history, Aguero is in the prime of his career and will expect to score even more goals to further enhance his legendary status.

And then finally we come to the big man. Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been box office value ever since he came to England. He immediately proved himself as he scored on his debut, Pl debut and Old Trafford debut. An absolute must in this team.
