Dream11 Prediction BAN vs SA
Bangladesh will play their first match of the ICC Cricket World Cup against the mighty South Africans who would be reeling under the effects of their first match’s loss. Both teams would hunt for the crucial 2 points with the Proteas more likely to get them.
Bowlers for BAN vs SA Dream11 Team
I have gone in with 3 impact bowlers for this match. The Oval seemed to favour the seamers as there was some zing on the surface. The South African pace duo of Kagiso Rabada and Lungi Ngidi walk into my team. Both of them are consistent wicket-takers and will give you 2-3 wickets even if they go for runs. They do bowl at the death as well which can get them a few cheap wickets. They were both impressive in the first match with Rabada picking up 2 and Ngidi picking up 3 wickets.
I also go ahead and select Mustafizur Rahman for this match. His variations and left-arm swing is bound to trouble a few batsmen. He has been picking up regular wickets at the death and I am expecting him to do the same here. Imran Tahir is one man who missed out on a spot but you can also consider him if you wish. Budgetary constraints forbade me to do the same.
All-rounders for BAN vs SA Dream11 Team
Shakib Al Hasan, the #1 all-rounder in ODI cricket according to ICC, walks into my team for this match. Shakib bats at No. 3 and has a huge opportunity to make a difference here. He can guide his team to a high total or help chase South Africa’s total whichever be the case. He is also a gem with the ball and on his day, can run through any batting order on any surface. A dangerous player like him will be an ideal captain for this match.
Andile Phehlukwayo is going to be my second all-rounder. Phehlukwayo has been contributing a lot with both the ball and the bat in the past few matches. He can be expected to pick up a few wickets in the middle overs. He is also an important batsman down the order who can stabilise the ship or go hammers at the death as the situation demands.
Wicket-keeper BAN vs SA Dream11 Team
I wanted to pick both the keepers from either team but the team combination and shortage of budget made me go with just 1. Of the two, Quinton de Kock would walk into my team anyday. He has been prolific with the bat over the years and has hammered some big knocks. In the first match, he scored a brilliant 68 against a strong English attack. He can make full use of the powerplay upfront and get South Africa off to a flyer. He will also be my vice captain for this match.
Batsmen for BAN vs SA Dream11 Team
As many as 5 batsmen are in my team which says a lot about the scores you can expect to see in this match. Bangladesh openers Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar are in my team. They have been complimenting each other beautifully and have been able to give Bangladesh a great start in all the matches over the past month. Especially in the tri-series involving Windies and Ireland, these 2 stepped up and scored some big knocks. I get them in for sure.
South African skipper Faf du Plessis and stalwart Hashim Amla both are in my team as well. They both have been batting wonderfully in the past few matches. While du Plessis has an average of over 80 in the last 10 games, Amla’s average is also great. Both these players are very dependable and in a big match like this, I expect them to come good definitely.
With 8 credits left, my best bet here would be to bring in Aiden Markram. He failed to impress in the first game but we hope he bats well at No. 3 in this one. He is a wonderful stroke-player and it will be difficult to contain him against a weaker bowling attack like that of Bangladesh.
If Markram is dropped in this match by South Africa, you can go for either Dwaine Pretorius who is a decent all-rounder or Mohammad Saifuddin of Bangladesh who had a knack of picking up many wickets. Tassie van der-Dussen is unlucky to miss out on a batsman’s spot owing to budgetary constraints.
