In celebration of the 57th anniversary of Black Panther comics, EA reveals a new dedicated work in progress from Cliffhanger Games. This new game will be under development by Cliffhanger Games, which is a new triple-A development studio under Electronic Arts.
Black Panther, the Marvel hero is a favorite among many due to his style and vigilante lifestyle. The African hero got even more popular due to Late Chadwick Boseman’s character in the MCU.

The development will be led by Kevin Stephens who has worked on other triple-A titles from Call of Duty, God of War, and more. Due to his experience with the action-adventure genre, leadership has been given to him.
Kevin quoted the following about the upcoming game:
We’re dedicated to delivering fans a definitive and authentic Black Panther experience, giving them more agency and control over their narrative than they have ever experienced in a story-driven video game.
He also said that Wakanda would be a complete sandbox that people would love to explore. Additionally, they believe to deliver a unique experience with the Black Panther story game.
At the moment, the studio is looking forward to creating a vast team over the years. They want people who are both experienced and can voice their own ideas that go alongside the vision.

No release period or clips has been revealed by EA or Cliffhanger Games. EA is in charge of two upcoming Marvel projects, one being Iron Man and another being Black Panther.
Who will be the main character in the Black Panther game?
The protagonist of the upcoming game is yet to be revealed by Electronic Arts, however, it can be expected to be T’Chala. However, if players get the chance to pick between gender, then T’Chaka can be a female option.
The is likely to be open-world, and which is completely single players. RPG mechanics might get implemented with the game as the character is technically advanced. However, this is only speculation at the moment.
