Eden Hazard: Chelsea reject colossal transfer fee from Real Madrid for Belgian International

Eden Hazard: Chelsea reject massive fee offered by Real Madrid for the Belgian International as the transfer saga still continues.

Eden Hazard made a storm online as he announced his intentions to leave the club this summer in a post-match interview during the Europa league final against Arsenal.

It was supposed to be perceived as a ‘goodbye message’ by the Belgian International to Chelsea fans, as he confirmed his transfer speculations.

Real Madrid are reportedly the forerunners to sign Hazard from the Blues, as Zinedine Zidane seeks to make a massive squad overhaul and considers the 28-year-old a suitable candidate for it.

However, in the recent advancements, it is reported by AS that Chelsea have refused the first offer of £115 million made by Real Madrid for the services of Eden Hazard.

It comes as a shock as the Blues were ready to respect the desires of Hazard and the cost being offered by Real Madrid is acceptable, considering Hazard is left with only one year with his current contract with Chelsea.

Furthermore, it is reported that Los Blancos have offered £400,000-a-week deal at the Santiago Bernabeu. The 28-year-old player is a necessity for Zinedine Zidane as he require quality reinforcements in the squad ahead of the following season.

On the other side, it seems Chelsea want to milk more money out of this deal, as the Belgian winger is at his peak form this season and his recent brace against Arsenal in the Europa league final is the prime example.

Now it seems, Real Madrid will try to bargain further with administration of Chelsea, since the current cost is itself massive and would be the biggest deal of this window.

It seems both the clubs will remain in the negotiations until both the parties feel satisfied. Although, Real Madrid need to stretch a bit to convince Chelsea
