Eden Hazard has been a huge fan of Real Madrid since his childhood. During his days as a professional, he has never been hesitant about revealing his desire of playing for them. He is an avid fan of Zidane as well, but for him, playing for the club is priority. Eden Hazard has been on Real Madrid’s radar this summer.

Cristiano Ronaldo departed for Juventus earlier in the summer. Out of a host of players, Hazard’s name tops their list and he too is desperate to play for them.

The 27 year old returns from vacation on Monday and will hold crunch talks with Maurizio Sarri over his future at the club. There are no issues between the club and player, but Hazard wants to leave for a new challenge.

The Belgian believes that this year is his best chance to go out and play for Real Madrid due to their huge need of replacing Ronaldo. Hazard is hopeful that the club will accommodate his need and grant his wishes.

Chelsea’s newly appointed boss said that he did speak to the Blues’ talisman on phone. However, there was no communication about his future at the club. The Italian said: “I talked with him.

“We didn’t talk about his future. We talked only about, ‘Can I arrive back on Monday instead of Sunday?’ “In this moment there is no problem for Hazard.”

Sarri will also need to hold talks with Thibaut Courtois who is also linked with a move to Iberian pastures. It has also been reported that Courtois’ agent urged Chelsea to let the player leave this summer or lose him for free next summer. Like Hazard, Courtois has not hidden his desire to go back to Madrid where he spent three years. He wants to reunite with his family including two children who stay in Madrid.

Both the players were snapped while on vacation. They remained calm and enjoyed the moments with close ones before the season commences. Chelsea play Man City today in the FA Community Shield. Hazard and Courtois won’t be available for the match.
