Eden Hazard Transfer News: Chelsea star moves inch closer as he poses with Real Madrid jersey

Eden Hazard has posed with Real Madrid jersey ahead of the anticipated transfer move from Chelsea.

As soon as the Europa League final concluded, Eden Hazard confirmed his departure from Chelsea. In an interview, he said that two clubs are finding a way to culminate the deal in the forthcoming days.

“I’ve made my decision and I told Chelsea two weeks ago. I’m just waiting on both clubs to decide now. I think it’s goodbye. I’ve done this for 7 years and now it’s time for a new challenge.” said Eden Hazard to BT Sport.

There were reports quoting that Chelsea had turned down a 115 million bid from Real Madrid yesterday, but the Los Blancos will battle against the odds to land him in the summer window. The 29-year-old has only one year left in his current deal which will force the Blues to sell him for a good value rather than letting him leave for nothing in a year.

Albeit the deal refusal, Eden Hazard, who is currently spending the holidays at Marbella, has posed with Real Madrid fans. A couple of fans were able to meet him a public place and the Belgian held the Real Madrid jersey with them.

Chelsea, meanwhile, have been hit with a transfer ban, though have brought in Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund in a deal agreed in the winter transfer window. It will be an interesting summer for the Blues, who are possibly losing their manager Maurizio Sarri to Juventus. The Italian International has intended to leave the club and has informed the club about the offer from the reigning Italian Champions.

Left-back Marcos Alonso has been heavily linked with a move back to Spain. Diego Simeone is keen on the defender, but Chelsea are not keen to sell.

Here’s how Twitter has reacted..

What’s next?

Chelsea will have to take a massive call on Sarri’s future as Hazard’s departure looks likely than before.
