Edinson Cavani is linked to shocking Premier league club in January

Neymar believes that he is ready to take over the footballing world, and for that he wants to be in a team that is built around him.

Neymar was promised that at PSG, but someone forgot to relay that information to Edinson Cavani. The Uruguayan, who played second fiddle to Ibrahimovic, was the star man for the club last year.

Now that he was the focal point, Cavani plundered in the goals for the French side and has no intention to playing second fiddle anymore. This became quite evident in PSG’s last match, where in Cavani did not allow Neymar to take a penalty.

Neymar was visibly upset, and apparently came close to blows with the striker in the dressing room after the match. At Barcelona, Neymar and Suarez supported Messi something that the Brazilian wants for himself at PSG.

Neymar already has the Brazilians in the dressing room on his side, as well as the young Kylian Mbappe. Neymar wants Mbappe and Cavani to support him at Paris, something that Cavani clearly has no intention to doing so at the moment.

According to reports, Neymar has told the PSG bosses that he wants Cavani to be sold in the summer. With PSG planning a fire-sale in January to meet the FFP demands, the possibility of selling Cavani might actually come to fruition.

But now it looks like Cavani in linked to a shock move to Chelsea in the winter transfer window. The Uruguayan hit man will be a huge name and will command a huge fee if he does indeed move in January.

While he will be a big loss for PSG, Cavani’s arrival could really take Chelsea to another level altogether. A front three of Cavani, Morata and Hazard is indeed a frightening prospect for the defenses all over England.
