Recent match

England and Pakistan played their last match during the fifth ODI of the recently concluded series at Leeds. In what was a dead-rubber, England ended up winning it by 54 runs.

After England captain Eoin Morgan won the toss and chose to bat, the hosts ended up scoring 351/9 in their allotted quota of 50 overs. Joe Root, who came in to bat at No. 3, top-scored for England scoring 84 (73) with the help of nine fours.

Despite Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed (97) and top-order batsman Babar Azam (80) scored individual half-centuries, Pakistan could only manage to score 297 in 46.5 overs. With bowling figures of 10-0-54-5, England pacer Chris Woakes was the pick of the bowlers for the hosts.
