Arsenal will visit Goodison Park to take on Everton in a significant Premier League clash for the top-4 race. We take a look at the predicted lineup for Arsenal.

Arsenal have been in fine form over the last few weeks. However, the side will be put to test as they take on Everton at Goodison Park.

Arsenal’s away form has been a huge cause of concern for Unai Emery throughout the season. The side has secured only 19 points from 14 away games in the current league campaign.

The side is currently at fourth in the Premier League table and faces tough competition for the top four positions. Chelsea and Tottenham registered convincing victories in their mid-week fixtures. Even when Manchester United dropped points against Wolves, Arsenal’s long list of away fixtures might prove tricky for the side.

As Unai Emery aims to put a stop to the disappointing run of away results, we take a look at the predicted lineup for Arsenal against Everton.

Arsenal predicted lineup vs Everton:

Goalkeeper: Bernd Leno

Leno has kept clean sheets in Arsenal’s last two Premier League games against Manchester United and Newcastle, and would have to be at his best as the side visits Goodison Park.

Defence: Mustafi, Sokratis, Monreal

Unai Emery provided a worrying fitness update on Laurent Koscielny in the press conference ahead of the game against Everton. The Arsenal head coach stated that Koscielny hadn’t trained with the side for the game.

While he refused to rule him out for the game, we believe that Unai Emery wouldn’t risk his first-choice defender at this point of the season. Shkodran Mustafi is expected to take his place in the XI. Sokratis and Monreal, meanwhile take the other two places.

Midfield: Maitland-Niles, Guendouzi, Ramsey, Kolasinac

Aaron Ramsey was confirmed fit by Emery for the game against Everton. In a four-man midfield, Ramsey is expected to partner Guendouzi, alongside Maitland-Niles and Kolasinac as wingbacks.

Granit Xhaka is a fitness doubt for the game.

Attack: Ozil, Aubameyang, Lacazette

Mesut Ozil was impressive in the game against Newcastle, and Unai Emery seems to be relying on the German midfielder. Ozil is expected to be in the middle, with Aubameyang and Lacazette partnering up-top.

The duo has been impressive in this season and needs to be in top form for Arsenal as the side aims for a top-4 finish.
