Lewis Hamilton has been in several relationships in the past, with some of them being very widely publicized by the press and on social media. Recently, however, rumors of Hamilton dating Russian model Irina Shayk have emerged.
Hamilton and Shayk go way back, with the two hanging out when the Mercedes driver is away from F1, on several occasions. They have attended parties together, award functions and galas together in the past. Shayk, who is an ex-girlfriend of Cristian Ronaldo, one of the most popular footballers in the world, is now rumored to be in a relationship with Hamilton.
Fans posted pictures of the two of them together on social media throughout this week, with Shayk present at the Miami GP, where Hamilton finished P6. The 37-year-old model was also present at the Coachella music festival, which was where Hamilton was spending his break away from F1.

An account on Twitter named DearLewis posted pictures of Shayk linking him to Hamilton. One picture showed Shayk talking to a team member of the Mercedes F1 team, in front of Hamilton’s garage in Miami. The other simply showed Hamilton hanging out with Shayk, at a party.
Fans went berserk, as Hamilton and Shayk have known each other for a long time. Rumors of them dating has also come up in the past when they appeared for award shows and galas together. These rumors, however, always turned out to be false.
Shayk, herself posted pictures of her having fun at the Miami International Autodrome during the race weekend. She posted pictures of herself in the paddock, in front of the garage, and also a picture of Hamilton’s car in the pits.
Are Hamilton and Shayk really dating?
Even though some rumors about Shayk and Lewis Hamilton dating started emerging on social media, it seems highly unlikely that they are together as a couple. They are really close friends, who have stayed in touch for a long time, and neither has spoken about the other romantically in public.
Some fans also pointed out that Hamilton can’t be dating Shayk, on Twitter. Anjie on Twitter, wrote that:
” Lewis is with Juliana Nalu!! they went to Antarctica together earlier on and there was a video of her literally on top of him in the hot tub she went to Coachella and Miami GP with him and was wearing his bracelets in a post. Kinda crazy.”
Shayk is a very successful model in her own field, and has over 21 million followers on Instagram. Among sports fans, she became a known name during her highly publicized relationship with the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo at the start of the last decade.
