10 GP winner Valtteri Bottas shows off own beer brand on social media while holidaying in Australia

Over the last few years, Valtteri Bottas has gone on to become one of the most popular drivers in F1. Other than his brilliant drives for Mercedes alongside seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton, he has also been a very fun personality off the track. Bottas’ funny posts on social media have caught the eye of many, and it is something fans actually look forward to.

One of his most viral posts was of course that of his bare bottom, which he also framed and gifted to former teammate Hamilton. However, right now, fans are getting a taste of Bottas’ adventures down under as he’s on vacation in Australia. The 10 GP winner’s partner is Australian and the two of them are spending time together in the former’s country during this season break.

Bottas posted a picture two weeks ago that showed him getting a mullet haircut, which is very popular among the Aussies. Since then, we’ve seen several snippets of the Finn enjoying his time off but a recent story posted on his Instagram account has caught the attention once again

This time, Bottas is showing off a bottle of beer that has his own name branded on it. The design of the bottle and the logo is similar to that of the famous Australian beer company Victoria Bitter, but instead, it has the name ‘Valtteri Bottas‘ written on it, along with a picture of the former Mercedes driver’s face.

Valtteri Bottas realizes his dip in form during his debut Alfa Romeo campaign

Bottas joined Alfa Romeo in 2022 after spending the previous five years with Mercedes. He was an instrumental figure behind helping the Silver Arrows win five consecutive Constructors’ Championships and won 10 races during his time in Brackley. However, them not offering him a multi-year contract made him explore options elsewhere which is when Alfa Romeo came knocking.

The Hinwil-based outfit developed a fast car that allowed Bottas to regularly compete for points in the beginning. In fact, he started alongside and even ahead of his former team on some occasions. However, as the season progressed, their form dipped and so did Bottas’ confidence.

“For sure it was getting a bit annoying when it was actually so many races that I didn’t score,” he said to the Racer. It also hurts your confidence. It’s the same for the team.”

The 33-year-old is hoping for a faster car next season, as he looks to help the team grow and break into the midfield.
