Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher, and Lewis Hamilton. These names have always been at the forefront of the F1 GOAT debate. While we aren’t here to discuss who is better, they surely brought immense popularity to the sport.
All three have had amazing careers, won innumerable races, and cemented their names as the glorious men of the sport. Senna’s career got an unfortunate end, as he lost his life during a race in 1994.
But by then, everyone knew that this mystique figure was among the rare talents F1 would witness. He also inspired the other two greats already mentioned in the article. In fact, Hamilton’s love for Senna propelled the Brazilians to adopt the former as their hero.

AWS declares the fastest among them
While it’s not the right thing to pit the three drivers against each other in the greatest of all time debate, Amazon Web services (AWS), a cloud platform, has revealed data which gives a rough idea of who could be the fastest among the three.
The three drivers come from different generations. Senna never competed against Hamilton and only vied against a very young Schumacher, who was yet to hit his peak.
Meanwhile, when Hamilton came into F1, Schumacher retired from the sport. Though he competed against the German when he returned with Mercedes, it was not the Michael from his peak Ferrari days and was a 40+ driver who wasn’t there to win.
So, never seeing them head to head at their best also keeps the GOAT debate dispute. However, the $400 billion platform claims to have a winner if they were competing against each other tomorrow in the same machinery.
Who wins it? Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher or Lewis Hamilton?
According to AWS, among the three drivers, Senna is the fastest driver among them. Followed by Schumacher, who only has a one-tenth of a second difference against the Brazilian.
And it leaves Hamilton at P3 with over a tw0-tenths of a second difference against his idol. The data is compiled from 1983 to 2020, and the result has been declared.
The list keeps the current world champion Max Verstappen at P4. The biggest surprise in the list is the exclusion of Alain Prost and Mika Hakkinen, who were obviously among the greatest and defeated Senna and Schumacher, respectively.
