Alonso responds to Taylor Swift rumors
Fernando Alonso has finally broken his silence regarding the persistent rumors linking him romantically to Taylor Swift. The gossip mill went into overdrive following the songstress’ split from Joe Alwyn, and Alonso has now addressed the speculation head-on.
In a recent interview with Sky Sports, as Alonso touched down in Baku ahead of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, he was quizzed about his relationship status. The interviewer made a playful reference to one of Swift’s famous lyrics, highlighting how the speculation had taken on a life of its own.

Alonso, however, was quick to dispel the rumors, kind of. “But I’m just focused on Baku and racing.”
Recently, Alonso added some playfulness to the ongoing dating rumors by sharing a cheeky TikTok video. In the video, he winked at the camera and glanced down at his phone as Swift’s song “Karma” played in the background. The video was captioned with “Race week era,” a reference to the singer’s Eras tour.
However, despite the lighthearted post, Alonso has made it clear that there is no truth to the rumors linking him romantically with Swift. The rumors initially started when a celebrity gossip account, DeuxMoi, shared a blind item about the two. But Alonso has remained focused on his racing career and has no intention of getting distracted by baseless gossip.
