Max Verstappen has been absolutely dominant this season. With 14 wins in 17 races already, the Dutchman has ripped apart the opposition with the help of his mighty RB-19. As Verstappen has touched almost every record in F1 under the current scenario, Aston Martin star Felipe Drugovich came out to add a new feather to his illustrious F1 career.
After the breathtaking 2021 F1 season, the Red Bull star has been in complete control of the situation. He claimed his second world championship after initial hiccups and resistance from Charles Leclerc. This year, the difficulties he faced were even less than last year.

His teammate Sergio Perez was on an even keel till the first four races. However, after this, Verstappen was hard to touch as the Dutch driver sped away in terms of points and eventually claimed his third world championship, and now, Drugovich came up to share another side of this F1 sensation.
Drugovich focused on Verstappen’s incredible focus and dedication
Drugovich, the Brazilian renowned racing driver, has recently decided to open up on Verstappen and his incredible dedication and focus on racing. Admittedly, the three-time world champion is indeed a racing magnate, and there is no way Drugovich would disagree with that.
As Verstappen and Drugovich often take to the simulation together, therefore, without having raced with the Red Bull driver, the latter has ideas about his functionality. Talking about this, the Aston Martin personnel said to F1TV, “The level he has maintained all year is incredible. In fact, throughout his entire career, but this year is truly exceptional.”
A 10/10 performance today @redbullracing 🏆
To win 10 races in a row, and 15 consecutive races as a team, is unbelievable! 💪 I’m beyond proud to achieve this milestone together 👏
Today we will enjoy this moment and then we will keep pushing for more ☝

With this, he further added, “It’s also quite funny because we sometimes race together on the simulators, and then on Monday morning after the race, he is busy again. His dedication and focus are incredible. What he is achieving now is quite something.”
Max Verstappen and his staggering statistics
Coming into 2023, Max Verstappen broke multiple F1 records. After the first few victories, he overtook the all-time win record of Ayrton Senna, an all-time F1 great. Following this, he began his race-winning streak.
In doing so, the man from the Netherlands claimed ten back-to-back F1 victories and broke a decade-long record of Sebastian Vettel. Vettel was the holder of nine back-to-back victories that he set with Red Bull back in 2013.
Currently, Verstappen stands with 14 victories, just one less from his last year’s tally. However, he still has five races to go this season. Therefore, he will only need two more victories in five races to become the driver with the highest wins in a single season.
