BWT F1: Who are Racing Point’s title sponsors, the Sportsrush explains what does the company provide to the world and how much do they earn?

Racing Point which was formed after the dissolution of Force India. Since then, Racing Point has been vying for the success in the motorsport. Before the start of the season, Racing Point signed a mega-deal with BWT, making them the title sponsors of the F1 team.

Andreas Weißenbacher, CEO of BWT, said after the agreement “Over the past three years we have brought our distinctive pink colour into Formula 1 and built a very strong relationship with Racing Point.

“We are committed to helping this team achieve its objectives and this is why we have chosen to increase our support by becoming a title partner.” He further said.

“Working together in this way we believe the team can be much more competitive on the track in 2020. We will also support the team’s push to become more sustainable. Together we will cut down the use of disposable bottles at the track, minimise plastic waste and facilitate the local treatment and consumption of water.”

Who are BWT F1?

As per the official website of the company the BWT is Europe’s leading water treatment company. Their profile claims “BWT provides state-of-the-art water treatment technologies and services for drinking water, pharmaceutical water, process water, heating water, boiler water, cooling water, water for air-conditioning systems and water for swimming pools.

“Our Research & Development teams use the latest methods developed to work on new processes and materials to create products that are both ecological and economical. A key development issue is a reduction in the products’ consumption of operating resources and energy to minimize CO2 emissions.

The company claims that it was formed in 1990 and since then has employed around 5000 workers who are aimed to supply private, industrial, business, hotel and public sector customers. BWT has modest earnings which allow them to fuel some money in Racing Point.

The financial release of the company in 2016 state that it accumulated around €610 million dollars.
