Charles Leclerc and Pierre Gasly Enjoy Extended Period of Bromance a Day After Attending Monte Carlo Masters Together

Ferrari star driver Charles Leclerc had a “fun” outing with his good friend and fellow F1 driver Pierre Gasly, best friend and his family in Monaco. The Monegasque was out to relish the fascinating Rolex Monte Carlo Masters on his home turf, accompanied by his close people.

As the Formula 1 world is now going through a break, Leclerc didn’t miss the opportunity to be present at the venue with some of his close people. As shared by him on his official Instagram account, the 25-year-old driver had a “fun day.

The Ferrari driver was not only accompanied by Gasly, but also by Joris Trouche, Norman Nato, and Gasly’s girlfriend Kika Cerqueira Gomes. He was also spotted with his brothers, Lorenzo Leclerc and Arthur Leclerc.

The Monegasque watched the doubles final between Ivan Dodig-Austin Krajicek and Sam Weissborn-Romain Arneodo. He was also there for the singles final between Andrey Rublev and Holger Rune.

Leclerc and Ferrari are “fully motivated” to get their season moving

The Ferrari star believes he and his team is “fully motivated” to get their season together once the season gets underway in Azerbaijan later this month.

With over three weeks to work on, the 25-year-old believes that the Prancing Horse got the ability to bring out good upgrades. He said that the upgrades are expected as quickly as possible so that they can get back to being competitive again.

F1 is currently at a temporary halt right now as the scheduled Chinese Grand Prix got canceled earlier. Hence, the sport is enjoying three weeks of a break after the conclusion of the Australian GP and until the Azerbaijan GP gets underway.

Where are Leclerc and Ferrari?

Charles Leclerc and Ferrari had a dismal start to their 2023 F1 season. If not the worst, this start can be considered one of the worst starts from the Italian team by far.

When it comes to individual standing, the former Sauber pilot is in P10 in the driver’s standings. He only managed to grab six points, thanks to the P7 finish in the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. Other than that, he had DNFs in both the Bahrain GP as well as Australian GP.

As for Scuderia Ferrari, the team stands at a distant P4 in the standings. With just 26 points in their bag, they’re adrift by almost 100 points with just three races concluded. If things don’t change for them in the next few races, the Tifosi will need to swallow yet another bitter season.
