F1 2020 Patch Notes: Codemasters releases Patch 1.03 for Formula 1 2020 game for all Platforms including XBOX One

F1 2020 patch notes

The Codermasters F1 2020 has released its first round of F1 2020 updates, which includes the Patch 1.03 for all platforms.

The Codemasters has come out with its ‘Week One Update’ for their F1 2020 game, which was released a few weeks earlier. The game is topping the gaming charts, and is the highest-scoring Xbox game of 2020, according to Metacritic.

Codemasters have also released the notes for their much talked about Patch 1.03 updates for Xbox users, and 1.04 for PS4. They are also aiming to release another patch to Xbox next week, alongside patches to PC and PS4.

Codemasters has released an official note about the same, clarifying the details of Patch 1.03 and the updates that they have provided.

Lots of players have been unhappy with penalties during safety car periods. Moreover, when players lose internet connection for some or the other reason, their race results were being shown incorrectly. An issue with the Schumacher edition has also been resolved. Below is the official release by the F1 2020 Game:

  • Fixed a crash when using the Schumacher or RaceNet items going into My Team.
  • Reduced the penalties given to players during safety car periods to the correct values to prevent unfair disqualifications.
  • Addressed an issue where a number of players or AI would be disqualified incorrectly after passing the safety car.
  • Addressed an issue where race results could be incorrect after disconnecting and re-joining an online session.

Codemasters also informed about other features and updates in the works.

Pitcoins

A lot of users playing on Xbox, PS4 and Steam have not received their Pitcoins yet. The Codemasters are working on it and assured the affected users it will be processed at the earliest.

New Circuits and Mercedes Livery

Codemasters have recreated the original 2020 season and now includes both the Hanoi Circuit and Circuit Zandvoort. But they have clarified that it wouldn’t be possible to add any new circuits according to the revised F1 calendar.

However, all the latest liveries, especially the new black Mercedes one would be added to the game in the next update. Fans have been waiting for this and would love to take the new Mercedes out in the F1 2020 Game.
