The Azerbaijan Grand Prix has aroused excitement as both Mercedes and Red Bull have signalled towards another intense battle between the two teams in the streets of Baku.

Last year, the race scheduled in Baku was cancelled due to the rising number of cases in Azerbaijan and wasn’t included in the revised calendar. But now, with the world adjusting to the virus, Azerbaijan is organizing a Grand Prix this weekend.

The race holds a crucial position in the world title race; at the current point of time, Red Bull and Mercedes are separated by the finest of margins, and a win of one on another can determine the future course of the season.

Mercedes’ team principal has asserted that Red Bull would be strong in Azerbaijan and might replicate Monaco performance. Meanwhile, Christian Horner contrasted his counterpart’s views by citing Mercedes’ record in Baku.
