F1 British GP Trophy: Formula 1 reveals majestic trophy for iconic British Grand Prix race

F1 British GP Trophy: Formula 1 reveals the majestic trophy for the historic British Grand Prix, which marks a week to go for the 7oth anniversary.

Formula 1 is in its iconic year, as 2020 marks the 70th year of Formula 1 World Championship, and it is going to be a one-off racing tournament organized at the Silverstone Circuit, a week later to British Grand Prix.

To celebrate the “eve” of the event at the British GP, Formula 1 has introduced majestic trophies on its social media handles for the podium winners of the British GP.

The trophy has been co-presented by Pirelli and Formula 1 with the former being the main sponsors of the event. This trophy shall not be confused with the trophy of the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix, which is not revealed yet and will be presented by the main sponsors of that event- the Emirates.

The trophy has a majestic design and was presented in gold, silver and bronze colours, which will be given to the three winners of the race today.

F1 British GP Trophy- Who will win it?

Honestly, the Mercedes drivers look favourite to grab two trophies, and apart from them. Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc secured two and one podium position this season so far respectively, also have the chance to take one at home.

Both Mercedes cars at P1 and P2, whereas Verstappen and Leclerc are at P3 and P4 respectively. Going down in the order, Williams faced a setback when George Russel was penalized for the yellow flag disobedience in qualifying and will start from 20th position on the grid.

Daniil Kvyat was also sent 5 positions down for gearbox violation. Meanwhile, Nico Hulkenberg faced disappointment when his Racing Point car showed technical problems, propelling him to quit the race.
