F1 FP1 Results of the Belgian Grand Prix have gone in favor of the Mercedes, with both Ferrari drivers massively struggling.
The Formula One 2020 seventh race weekend is underway with the first Free Practice session at Spa for the Belgian Grand Prix. Mercedes have done a one-two yet again, with Bottas lapping the fastest time.
Red Bull’s Max Verstappen had a solid session too, and finished third fastest. His teammate Alex Albon was sixth fastest.
Racing Point had a brilliant session, with Sergio Perez and Lance Stroll P4 and P5. Ferrari had a shocker, with both Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel finishing behind ex-Ferrari Kimi Raikkonen in his Alfa Romeo.

What to look forward to this weekend at the Belgian GP?
It should be quite an intriguing battle between Hamilton, Bottas and Verstappen for the win, with all three looking solid so far this season. Ferrari would be hoping their weekend doesn’t go like this session, with both drivers massively struggling.
As usual, the mid-teams table will be led by Racing Point, with credible competition expected from McLaren and Renault. The race is being conducted in lines with the tribute to Anthoine Hubert who passed away last season in F2 after crashing at Turn 4 at this circuit.
