F1 FP3 Results have gone in favour of Mercedes, with Valtteri Bottas finishing with the fastest lap time, and Lewis Hamilton in P2.

The Formula One 2020 British Grand Prix Free Practice 3 is over, and normalcy has returned to the grid, with Mercedes dominating the lap times.

Valtteri Bottas clocked the fastest lap time, with his partner Lewis Hamilton in P2. They are the overwhelming favorites for the win and podium on Sunday.

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen finished third fastest and is looking a good shout for a third consecutive podium finish this season. His teammate Alex Albon had a disappointing P13.

Racing Point had a decent session with Lance Stroll finishing fourth fastest. His F1-returning teammate Nico Hulkenberg did a honorable job and was in the Top 10. The F1 fanbase is looking forward to a potential first podium finish for Nico in his decade-long Formula One career.

What to look forward in today’s qualifying session at Silverstone?

It would be a shock if Mercedes do not line up in the front row of the grid tomorrow, with both Bottas and Hamilton looking ominous. There will be strong competition between McLaren, Racing Point, Red Bull, Ferrari and Renault to make it to Q3 in qualifying.

But fans are all focused on how Nico Hulkenberg performs on his Formula One return, and credit to him, has done a satisfactory job in his Racing Point so far. Racing Point are yet again the team to watch out for this weekend.
