F1 Styrian Grand Prix Weather: What’s the weather forecast in Spielberg on Saturday and Sunday
F1 Styrian Grand Prix Weather: Forecast in Spielberg on Saturday and Sunday, as events are under threat of getting spoilt.
The second race in Austria is set to take off on Sunday, but there is an unprecedented situation of FP3 and Qualifying getting spoilt amidst the current weather predictions.
It has been predicted that the area where the race will take place might see heavy rain and storm ahead of the race on Sunday. Therefore, the authorities might have to cancel the FP3 and qualifying.
Since there is not any hospital near the facility and helicopters can’t operate under such conditions, the risk of life is at a high level under such conditions, thus such decision might have to be taken to avoid any unfortunate accident.
If qualifying anyhow doesn’t take place, then it will probably take place a few hours before the race or the results of FP2 will become de-facto grid position results.
If FIA decides to go with the latter, then Max Verstappen is already at an advantage, as he led the pole after the FP2, followed by Valtteri Bottas, who won the last race on the same track happened last week.
