Fan Inks Lewis Hamilton Autograph After 7x World Champion Signs on Her Forearm

A diehard Lewis Hamilton fan named Mahsa Nemat shared her experience after meeting the 7-time world champion for the first time. The Iranian fan waited outside for Hamilton to leave for his hotel hoping to catch a glimpse of the F1 star.

After an hour of waiting, the Briton finally appeared. The Mercedes driver even signed an autograph for the fan on her forearm at her request.

Fan records her interaction with Lewis Hamilton

The fan, Mahsa Nemat, recorded her entire experience on her Instagram post. She claims her friend tipped her off regarding Lewis Hamilton’s whereabouts. She waited for an hour and finally got to meet Hamilton.

Nemat said the Briton patiently signed autographs for all the fans present. “He kindly came and signed everyone one by one, “ she wrote in the caption. “We told him that we are from Iran. He looked at us with excitement in his eyes, and said ‘One day I want to come and see you there in Iran’.”

 

Nemat revealed she was so excited to meet the racing icon, that she forgot to take paper for the autograph. She requested the Mercedes driver to sign on her forearm, which he gladly did.

Within half an hour of meeting Hamilton, Nemat shared she was in a tattoo parlor, ready to get the Briton’s sign inked. Her friend asked if she would regret this decision. Her reply was, “Regrets? I’ll remember where I was and how I felt at this moment all my life. So why should I regret it?”

Hamilton shares love for fan banner

Lewis Hamilton fans made a special banner for the 7x world champion’s race in Baku. LH fans were asked to share their love for the Briton with a word that best describes him.

Twitter user ‘Romy_Skye’ designed a banner for the Mercedes driver. The fan had designed the banner featuring Hamilton’s favorite quote “Still I Rise.”

The fan got to meet the Briton in the paddock ahead of the 2023 Azerbaijan GP. Hamilton signed the banner and appreciated the fan for the artwork. Later he even retweeted her post with a heart.
