As all of the UK was celebrating King Charles III’s coronation on May 6, F1 fans were enjoying the spectacle in Miami. Although the two events have no connection at all, F1’s Twitter handle found a strange way to connect King Charles III and Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc. F1’s Twitter handle posted an image of King Charles III’s coronation with an awkward caption.
The caption read, “Charles the Third, Charles the Second…Leclerc puts in a P2 lap time right at the end of FP3 but is unable to dethrone Verstappen’s fastest time“. F1’s Twitter handle put up this post after Charles Leclerc clocked in a lap time that was 0.406 seconds slower than that of Max Verstappen.

On similar lines, a fan named Luc Gray stated that it is embarrassing to make such a comparison.
Embarrassing to bring that to an F1 track

Meanwhile, fans such as Jalal M. Fouani applauded the F1 Twitter handle’s effort but were not happy with the final post.

Leclerc will hope to continue his momentum from Baku
Coming back to F1, Charles Leclerc will hope to carry forward his momentum after an outstanding result in Baku last weekend. The Monegasque began the weekend by finishing a brilliant second in the sprint race before securing his first podium finish of the 2023 season in the main race.
This result helped him score a valuable 22 points to add to the six he had scored earlier from the first three races. His 28 points place him sixth in the championship, just six points behind Ferrari teammate Carlos Sainz. Leclerc will now hope that he can carry on this resurgent form into this weekend’s race in Miami.
