Alonso unhappy with Azerbaijan GP qualifying

Aston Martin has made a significant improvement in the 2023 season and has given their 41-year-old driver to fight for wins in F1. Despite that, the team struggled with a few problems in the Azerbaijan qualifying at the high-speed street circuit.

Neither of the Aston Martin drivers got the top speed on the track DRS zones and later confirmed that there was a malfunction. As quoted by Autosport, Alonso who qualified P6 revealed, “I think we could have done better.”

However, he believes that there is more to come over the weekend. Alonso believes that there are plenty of opportunities to maximize the performance of the car over the new Sprint format.
