Claire Holt recently called Max Verstappen a “grouchy baby,” and this wasn’t what Verstappen fans loved. As they lashed out at the Hollywood actresses, now Holt is back with her response.
Earlier, the Vampire Diaries famed actress was asked if she watches Formula 1 when in one of her Q&A sessions on Instagram. Answering the question, she said she loves the sport but is tired of watching the Dutchman winning race after race in recent times.
She further added that the Red Bull driver is a “grouchy baby” and wants his teammate Sergio Perez to kick his “a*s.” As soon as she posted this online, she became an instant target of the two-time world champion’s fans.
As the majority of the fans didn’t like her response, they reacted to it angrily. Now, after getting quite a bit of backlash, Holt is back with her response.
Holt’s back at the fans with her reply
Addressing the fans, the Hollywood actress revealed in her Tik Tok, “I cannot stop laughing about this. People are taking it so seriously that I called him a grouchy baby.”
“By the way, I stand by what I said. Checo has been a great teammate and what he did to him was baby behavior,” concluded the 35-year-old actress.

Following her opinion, the response has been a mixed one as well. With fans divided between themselves while taking Verstappen’s side or Holt’s side, she yet again created a rift between F1 Twitter.
Apart from Holt, fans are also tired of seeing Max Verstappen win
Formula 1 has come a long way from seeing Michael Schumacher reigning on the tracks to Sebastian Vettel doing it till 2013. From there on Lewis Hamilton took over, and he was the king of the circuits till 2020. And from there on, it was all about Verstappen.
The Dutchman has single-handedly dominated the grid with 31 wins so far in the last two and a half years. With such enormous dominance, fans got tired of him and demanded the rules be changed.
Furthermore, there were talks if the FIA trying to change the rules to stop the Austrian team. But, that wasn’t the case, as Max Verstappen himself cleared the FIA of any wrongdoing. “I think so far it’s been alright. I mean that thing is natural when one team is ahead people start looking into things, but for the moment, I think it is alright,” stated the Dutchman.
