“Incredibly Disrespectful”: Hollywood B-Lister Divides F1 World With Nasty Wish Against Max Verstappen

In the new RB19 car, Max Verstappen seems unstoppable to his rivals, and the fact that he has won 6 out of the 8 races this season further proves it. The 2022 season also had a similar story, with the Dutchman winning 15 out of the 22 races. Even though his fans are thoroughly enjoying the incredible show of dominance that he is putting on, others are distraught by it. Now, Australian actress Claire Holt has also shared her views on Verstappen’s domination in F1.

Holt recently posted a Q&A on her Instagram stories where she answered if she still follows F1. The Vampire Diaries fame actress said that she loves F1, but is tired of watching Verstappen win all the time.

She followed it up by saying that she thinks that Verstappen is nothing more than a “grouchy baby.” Holt also extended her support to Max’s teammate and said that she wants Sergio Perez to perform better than Verstappen.

Claire Holt polarized the F1 community with her comments

Holt’s comment about Verstappen and the current situation in F1 has divided fans. While some people have backed up the actress and congratulated her for ‘being real’, others saw this as a completely unprofessional act.

Quite a few people have come out in support of Holt. One Twitter user commented about how they have loved Holt always.

Another fan also said that Holt has always been their favorite.

A supposed Hamilton fan congratulated Holt for being ‘real’ and speaking the truth.

However, the majority of people have spoken out against the actor. A Twitter user explained that it is highly unprofessional considering the fact that Claire Holt is openly associated with Williams.

Another user claimed that Verstappen would easily be able to achieve what Holt has, but it won’t be possible the other way around.

One of the users was even harsher with their comment, as they claimed to not even know who Claire Holt was.

Another Twitter user also said that Claire Holt would not be able to achieve anything that Verstappen has.

Max Verstappen himself wants more competition in F1

Ahead of the Canadian GP, Max Verstappen himself expressed his wish to have a bit more competition in Formula 1. He sympathized with the fans and claimed that he understood that it gets boring when one driver starts winning all the races.

Verstappen said, “For the sport in general, I understand that people get bored when one team dominates.” He continued, “I hope more teams can get closer.”

However, the Dutchman has also made it very clear that he is enjoying every second of his current dominance of F1. Therefore, it is highly unlikely that another team would be able to catch up to his Red Bull before the next set of rule changes come in in 2026.
