"I find some of the statements to be unacceptable"– Lewis Hamilton slams Red Bull for their 'inappropriate' comments after Silverstone

“I find some of the statements to be unacceptable”– Lewis Hamilton calls out Red Bull for their unacceptable comments after the Silverstone race.

Lewis Hamilton amassed massive controversy around him after he was found guilty of causing Max Verstappen’s 51 G crash in Silverstone amidst their race for the title.

Hamilton’s mistake also attracted a parcel of unpleasant words by Red Bull, who wanted more severe punishment for him; now, after more than two weeks, Hamilton has talked about his rival team’s behaviour.

He told Speed Week: “When I think about everything that has been said by the team management of our opponents, it didn’t come as a surprise to me.

“I think some people should think about it during the summer break, because I find some of the statements to be unacceptable. We need to be careful with our words, especially when we think of children who are watching.”

“We should be role models, encouraging people to spread positivity.”

I am proud of my team.

In contrast to Red Bull, Hamilton has praised his team’s response to the controversy and sustained all the intensity they reviewed after the Silverstone incident.

“I’m really proud of my team, who stayed calm in this hurricane of emotions. In the days after Silverstone, we went to Hungary and performed well,” he added.

Even Mercedes’ team principal criticized Red Bull for going personal after the crash in Silverstone. However, Christian Horner dismissed the accusation and cited the degree of the incident that stemmed the tensions later.

Meanwhile, after the initial social media response and a few comments by Verstappen, he chose to end the murmurs around it. He asked the media to move on before the Hungarian GP’s start and after the qualifying in Hungary.

But the Silverstone saga git its season 2 in Hungary only after Red Bull collided with the two Red Bull cars.
