"I love it when a plan comes together"– Fernando Alonso gives a savage reply to Mercedes' twitter admin following Lewis Hamilton battle

“I love it when a plan comes together”– Fernando Alonso gives hilarious response to Mercedes’ twitter admin following the battle with Lewis Hamilton.

Last weekend, Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso had an epic battle in Hungary, where the Spaniard held his old nemesis for around 10 laps, delivering some jaw-dropping defensive moves.

Remembering that battle, Mercedes’ twitter admin tried to create a chuckle, reminding how it was predicted that Hamilton would catch Esteban Ocon with 10 laps to go, but then Alonso music phased in.

Alonso also decided to play along with the meme and replied to Mercedes’ admin with a GIF image of a man causing an explosion while lighting the cigarette, captioning, “I love it when a plan comes together.”

Lewis Hamilton would still take the result.

Even though Hamilton couldn’t register his another victory in the book, he managed to hold crucial 18 points against Max Verstappen, who lies eight points behind the Briton race driver.

Thus, if anyone had told Hamilton that it would turn out like this, he would have accepted in a heartbeat. The result by Hamilton also gave Mercedes a 10-point lead over Red Bull. Though, not to forget, Sebastian Vettel’s disqualification from the race also benefitted Mercedes.

So, Mercedes had a bigger win over here in the larger context, even though it was a historical feat by Alpine. Now, with the Belgium Grand Prix set to happen at the end of this month, Red Bull has some time to gather their momentum for their championship aspirants.
