"I think Wolff doesn't like Christian Horner very much"– Nico Rosberg

“I think Wolff doesn’t like Christian Horner very much”– Nico Rosberg on the recent Mercedes and Red Bull feud because of bendy wings.

Red Bull and Mercedes are once again fighting off the track, as the bendy wings being used by Red Bull have been pointed out by Mercedes, which allegedly violates the FIA rules.

On the other hand, Red Bull has also struck back with words and claimed a similar violation by Mercedes at front. Reflecting on this, Nico Rosberg has claimed that Toto Wolff doesn’t like Christian Horner.

“I think Wolff doesn’t like Christian Horner very much, because he doesn’t always talk about Christian in a sympathetic way,” Rosberg stated to Sky Italia.

“It’s really going to be quite a tug-of-war if Mercedes protests against Red Bull’s flexible rear wing. Wolff has already said he intends to do so, so that could happen next race in Baku.”

“It could even be that this game starts before the start of the GP in Baku and then things will really start moving. This issue is really something that is on the minds of the whole of Formula 1.”

Red Bull is not afraid.

If the tests after the Azerbaijan Grand Prix spots faults in Red Bull’s wings, then the latter can lose 0.5 seconds against Mercedes. And that could technically make the way clear for Mercedes for the championship.

The Brackley based team is so desperate to harm Red Bull that they have threatened to forge protest if Red Bull steps in with the same wings in Baku.

However, Red Bull is not afraid, as Helmut Marko claimed that many other teams are using the same thing, and it would mean that eight teams would be in trouble, leading to everyone protesting against the other, a chaos FIA would want to avoid at any cost.
