"I understeered quite a bit"- Charles Leclerc provides explanation for his crash with Lance Stroll

“I understeered quite a bit”- Charles Leclerc gives an explanation for his crash with Lance Stroll in the Russian Grand Prix.

During the Russian Grand Prix, a video emerged that Charles Leclerc collided with Lance Stroll before the latter got knocked out of the race.

After the race, Lance Stroll also appeared furious about the incident and claimed that Leclerc deserved a penalty for his actions.

“I’m quite surprised he didn’t get a penalty,” Stroll reflected back in the paddock after his early DNF. I gave him plenty of room.”

“I did the whole corner on the outside and he just tagged my right rear. I gave him all the room I could and it was unlucky, but he could have avoided it.”

“He didn’t have to run so wide into me. I think it’s ridiculous he didn’t get a penalty. A lot was possible today. I think I was P7 at that point. I had a great start on the good tyre, so it’s really a shame.”
