"I'm always looking to see how we can improve"- Lewis Hamilton urges for better innovation at Mercedes

“I’m always looking to see how we can improve”- Lewis Hamilton urges that he would like to witness better innovation at Mercedes.

Lewis Hamilton is one of those athletes, who always strive for perfection, which eventually solidify their success with the silverware. Though, Hamilton’s car is also an engineering marvel.

And Hamilton claims that despite Mercedes’ impeccable record in the last seven years, he still wants to have better innovation in the team to prolong their dominance in the sport but with sustainable technology.

After making clear that he wanted to continue racing next year, but “nothing was set in stone”, he said he was keen to be involved in helping Mercedes deliver a “green future” with their cars and to increase equality and diversity.

“I’m always looking to see how we can improve,” said Hamilton, who could claim a record-equalling seventh world title at this weekend’s Turkish Grand Prix.

“How can I be more efficient and do more for the partners? How can I position myself to do more for the team? “Naturally, I think it’s easy just to go and sign that deal and continue not having to think of what’s afterwards.

“And I’m very conscious of the idea that I do want to continue with Mercedes, I would love to help them on this quest in pushing for change. They are taking their cars green and electrifying more and I want to help them on that road.” he further said.

Lewis Hamilton nears the 7

Hamilton is just a race away before he will be crowned as the winner of the drivers’ championship and would be statically catching on the legacy of Michael Schumacher.

It remains to be seen whether the Briton will extend the lead over Schumacher by 2021, as he is still doing more than enough to remain at the top of the ladder.
