Formula 1 cars are definitely the fastest automobile machinery in the world. However, NFL superstar Tyreek Hill thinks he can go faster than 200 mph monsters in a race until the 50-yard line, but he has a condition.
During the Miami Grand Prix, Hill was asked, if given a headstart, how much margin he would need to beat an F1 car. The confident Miami Dolphins player asserted that he only needed 15 yards less to beat one of the fastest cars in the world.
“All I need is 15 yards,” said Hill in a video by Bleacher Report. “I’m beating that. 15 to 20? I’m beating the F1 car easily. You know what’s crazy? I actually tested this against my McLaren. It was like a photo finish, but I won.”
Tyreek Hill loses in reflexes
Hill seemed to be Alpine‘s guest during the Miami Grand Prix. Therefore, he got to meet Pierre Gasly ahead of all the actions he witnessed. During his interaction with the Frenchman, he did the reflexes drill that drivers usually do with tennis balls.
To be fair, initially, Hill was impressive with his reflexes. But he fumbled in between, and even while catching the balls, he was nervy, which showed how good F1 drivers are with their reflexes.

So, maybe for a second, one can believe the NFL star can beat an F1 car, but would he be able to tame it? Well, he sat in the Alpine with the tracksuit on.
Don’t worry; he didn’t drive
The 29-year-old wide receiver got a chance to put all the F1 gears and step inside an F1 car. Alpine’s crew member assisted him in getting himself fit in the car.
However, he didn’t get to drive it, and there are multiple reasons for that. The biggest reasons are: he doesn’t have a superlicense, and the car needs to be saved for the weekend. Plus, he doesn’t have all the required training to handle the G forces.
Rather, he was just given a pitstop experience. To be fair, which is also something F1 fans would die to experience once. Surely, Hill seemed to have a good time during his visit to the first American race of the season.
