Jenson Button appointment to Williams made George Russell worried

Jenson Button appointment to Williams racing on Thursday made George Russell worried that British race driver tweets about it for a second.

Jenson Button started his Formula 1 journey with Williams, while it was a force to reckon during this millennium’s early years. But now the team is a mere shadow of itself.

However, with new ownership, the team is vying to gain previous objectives and to do so, they’ve hired Jenson Button as a senior advisor to the team.

Listening to this news, George Russell was initially puzzled and thought his compatriot had been hired as a new driver, which kept him worried for a second before the Briton went on to read beyond the headline.

Though we don’t know how much truth does it hold, Russell shared this experience Twitter, while retweeting Williams’ video in which Button appears to talk about his return to the Formula 1 team.

George Russell to gain massive tips from Jenson Button before the ‘big move.’

It is heavily speculated that Russell will soon take the throne at Mercedes, and his stint at Williams is his preparation for the big days lying ahead.

Though, he has given a single Grand Prix experience for Mercedes and went onto impress the boss. Therefore, this has also been rumoured that Daimler, the Mercedes F1 team’s parent company, is using Russell as a tool to negotiate with Lewis Hamilton.

But if Russell doesn’t make up to Mercedes this year considering Hamilton is likely to sign an extension, he will definitely have a constructive time with Button.

The former Drivers Champion has more than 16 years of experience in F1 and even went onto win a world championship with Brawn in 2009. Taking guidance from Button is definitely going to be beneficial for Russell.
