Kimi Raikkonen Once Drunk Wrestled Former F1 Driver for Not Having His “Curry Craving” Satisfied
Kimi Raikkonen once made a former F1 driver pay the ultimate price for not fulfilling his “curry craving” in Japan. The F1 driver turned expert, Karun Chandhok has revealed this in a recently surfaced video.
Raikkonen has always been a fascinating driver of Formula 1. Known for his no-nonsense attitude and only talk when necessary behavior, the man from Finland has a massive fan following.
From being unaware of the situation to minding his business to silencing the race engineer angrily, the former F1 world champion had a unique personality and was in fact loved by the fans. In one such show of his eccentric personality Raikkonen once preferred having a “sh*t” than attending an important occasion,
Apart from this, the Finn was a massive party animal, who was unapologetic for partying even in unconventional places and situations. And Chandhok was once a witness of such behavior from the former Ferrari star.
Chandhok on Raikkonen’s behavior post craving unfulfillment
According to a recently surfaced video on Instagram, the Indian former driver talked about his “bizarre” interaction with the 2007 F1 world champion.
Following this, he went on to reveal what happened to him. Chandhok said, “It was bizarre really. We met Kimi at a bar in Tokyo and, more than apparently, he was already quite drunk.”

“He came to me and said, ‘I want Curry, take me somewhere.’ When I told him I don’t know where to take him, he grabbed me by the head and threw me to the ground with a wrestling grip,” concluded the former F1 driver.
Raikkonen and his party animal side
Raikkonen is a massive party animal and that is admitted by the driver himself on multiple occasions. Known for his iconic nickname ‘Iceman’, he also revealed that partying helped him to be a better driver.
Admittedly, Raikkonen gained enormous popularity over the years for his unique way of finding the right work-life balance and he has been an inspiration for people as well as a person with huge wit and sarcasm.
On one such occasion, the Finn arrived at the 2018 FIA Gala Award show in a drunk state. Pairing with his then-teammate Sebastian Vettel, he seemed to have enjoyed the moment to the fullest after finishing the 2018 F1 season in P3 with a win.
All in all, his unapologetic and no-nonsense behavior has always been a win for Kimi Raikkonen, and his departure from the sport in 2021, surely left a void in the sport.
