Seven-time F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton lives one of the most luxurious lives, even when compared to his fellow drivers in the sport. The Briton is famous for his fashion sense, as well as his multi-million dollar worth car collection. One of the most iconic cars in his collection was an $11,300,000 purple Pagani Zonda 760 LH, a car that became instantly recognizable when rolling down the streets of Monaco. Unfortunately, Instagramner Ethang.supercarphotographer, recently reported the same car being involved in a crash.
However, this is not the first time bad luck befell the car, as Hamilton himself once crashed it. “Terrible” handling by an overworked Hamilton led to him driving the car “very lightly” into a stationary vehicle. Fortunately, no one sustained any injuries.
Lewis Hamilton’s former car was involved in a crash
Having purchased the car in 2014 for $1.5 million, Hamilton has a personal touch to the car. The full name of the model was ‘Pagani Zonda 760 LH’ where the ‘LH’ stood for Lewis Hamilton. After seven years of ownership, the Stevenage-born driver parted ways with the car. He ended up selling it for a sum of $11,300,000.
8 years later, the car was being driven in Penmaenbach Tunne, North Wales earlier this month, where, rumors say, the driver lost control of the car, resulting in the rear hitting the main wall and spinning out.
The Pagani Zonda 760 LH, which was previously owned by Lewis Hamilton, was crashed yesterday in Wales.
The car was sold two years ago for 10 million Euros.
Thankfully, the owner is unharmed.

Much like the crash with Hamilton, no one was harmed during the crash, with the driver climbing out of the car with no major injuries. With the current owner unharmed, fans now hope to see the deformed car back to its former glory soon enough.
Why did Lewis Hamilton sell his ‘favorite’ car?
The Pagani Zonda 760 LH was no ordinary car. It was a one-off piece that Horacio Pagani personally ordered for the seven-time world champion. Thus, the car was also one of Hamilton’s favorite possessions. However, given his personal preferences, he later sold it for a huge profit.
TalkSport reported the reason behind Hamilton’s move to sell his favorite car was in line with the attitude Mercedes opted to keep up with changing times. Hamilton said all his future cars will at least boast of hybrid technology, if not completely electric. Thus, the British racing driver demonstrated his push for raising environmental awareness.
