Lewis Hamilton made headlines this past weekend at the Spanish Grand Prix after rumors emerged that he could perhaps be dating Colombian pop singer Shakira. While none of the two have made any comments about the same, F1 fans have created theories after spotting the two on various occasions.
The latest place where Hamilton and Shakira were spotted together was having dinner after this past weekend’s Spanish GP. Following the race, Shakira also took to social media and posted about her experience at the Spanish GP. She captioned her post as, “Nice to be back in Barcelona“!

While there have been rumors about Hamilton and Shakira potentially dating each other, it is Max Verstappen who has liked the 46-year-old’s post. It is pertinent to note that not even Hamilton follows the Colombian singer on social media.

Some F1 fans such as Connely hilariously stated that they could not believe that Max Verstappen knows about Shakira. They believe that if the Dutchman is following the Colombian pop star, “something else” has to be going on.
Verstappen has developed quite the image in the F1 paddock about not caring about other celebrities. When asked once if he had any idol, the 25-year-old replied (as quoted by express.co.uk), “I just focused on myself, not imitating anyone. If you stick to an idol, you will only lose because you can only be good, not better“.

The rumors of Lewis Hamilton and Shakira potentially dating first began after the two were spotted on a boat ride together after the Miami Grand Prix. A month later, Shakira also made her presence felt at the Spanish Grand Prix.
Following the conclusion of the race, Hamilton and Shakira were once again spotted having dinner together. And that is not it, as the Mercedes driver also joked about wanting to date a Latina ahead of the Spanish GP. All these things seem to suggest that the 38-year-old is perhaps dating the pop star.
