Max Verstappen Invites Fernando Alonso to His $16,000,000 House To Have a Quick Solution to Spaniard’s New Found Obsession

Fernando Alonso has a newfound love for flowers. As the Aston Martin star was seen gardening flowers in Miami, Max Verstappen gave him an idea involving his $16,000,000 home in Monaco that could convert his love into a profession.

Admittedly, Alonso and his love for flowers went viral after the Spanish driver was seen with blooms during the 2023 Miami Grand Prix. While Verstappen and Perez spoke to the media in the post-race press conference, the Asturian stood behind with flowers.

Alonso stood there in the background and smelled white flowers that were there in Miami for decoration. He had no idea that he was being recorded, and as soon as he landed on the internet, it became an instant hit.

Talking about this, Alonso said the Red Bull duo was “talking a lot“, so he stood there and smelt the flowers. However, with the 41-year-old’s love for flowers a popular thing now, Verstappen offered him an alternative.

As the Aston Martin driver was also on the podium in Monaco, he sat beside the race winner Verstappen. While the duo was talking in a press conference on Sunday, he was asked by the media about flowers.

On this, Alonso said, as per Max Verstappen’s fanpage on Instagram, “There are no flowers here. It was only Miami.” As he was speaking, Verstappen asked if the flowers were smelling good. The former Ferrari star said yes about how much he loves flowers.

Following this, he revealed how he went on to put them in motorhomes and some in his room as well. As soon as he finished saying this, the Dutchman spoke up about the post-retirement plan.

Verstappen said, “I have plants in my home as well.” The Asturian was indirectly invited to the Dutch pilot’s $16 million house. But Alonso had a condition for it. The Aston Martin star said he would talk with Verstappen about this later, as this potential agreement depended upon Verstappen’s aggression against Alonso during the Monaco GP race.

Verstappen and Alonso brewing an unlikely friendship

Fernando Alonso, who’s seen as Lewis Hamilton’s arch-rival, has been having a good time with fellow two-time world champion Max Verstappen.

The duo, who has been very regular in the podium scene in 2023, has got along with each other very well. This even went to such an extent that the 25-year-old would not mind if Alonso won a race.

Despite everything being good between them so far, things might take a different turn if the two esteemed drivers are title contenders in the future. It’ll be interesting to see how things fall in once they’re in the topmost position together.
