Max Verstappen Salary: How Much Will The Red Bull Ace Earn In 2023?

Max Verstappen signed a long-term deal with the Red Bull F1 team after winning his first title with the team in the 2021 season.

His multi-year deal extends until the end of the 2028 season. The Dutchman has been outperforming Lewis Hamilton for the past two seasons on the track.

Verstappen won his maiden title in 2021 after a fierce battle over the season with Hamilton. In 2022, the 25-year-old won 15 races and clinched the title by scoring a record-breaking number of points.

Aside from his exploits on the track, Verstappen has also overtaken the 7-time world champion in the financial race by raking up huge amounts in salary and bonuses.

Meanwhile, Hamilton, who failed to secure even a single win in the 2022 season, only earned an estimated $55 Million. The Briton had been at the top of the list ever since 2013.

Having clinched 2 titles in a row, Verstappen wants to further his success in F1 heading into a brand new season of F1 in 2023.

Although there is a good chance that this time around there will be a three-way battle for the title between Red Bull, Mercedes and Ferrari.

But if Verstappen still comes out at the top in 2023 by winning the championship, he will yet again lead the list of highest earners in F1 with an income that will fall in the ballpark of $60 Million.

Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc placed himself fifth on the list of the highest earners with a total income of $23 Million. He finished P2 in the championship and was thus given a bonus of $11 Million in addition to his $12 Million salary.
