Max Verstappen spins like Sebastian Vettel, looks likely to miss out on the potential Turkish GP podium at Istanbul.
The Turkish Grand Prix at Istanbul Park has turned out to be a dampener for drivers due to the icy cold track conditions. Lewis Hamilton called it s**t with a capital ‘S’, and now there is a good chance Max Verstappen will follow suit.
After losing track positions due to gear issues in the opening lap, Max Verstappen channelized Sebastian Vettel’s energy and did a double spin, much to the shock of everyone watching.

Turkish Grand Prix going from bad to worse for Max Verstappen
Max Verstappen currently finds himself in P8 and looks unlikely to go for a podium finish, in spite of clocking the fastest lap in the first half of the race. His Red Bull teammate Alex Albon looks good for a podium, which will relieve much of the stress he is enduring as he bids to salvage his short F1 career.
To make it worse for Verstappen, he is expected to see the world title go to arch-rival Lewis Hamilton today, who is currently in P5. The driver Max was attempting to overtake when the ‘Sbinilla’ happened, Sergio Perez looks good for a double podium with race leader Lance Stroll. Meanwhile, his inspiration Vettel is currently in P4, in arguably the multiple-time world champion’s best race this season.
