One Debacle by Max Verstappen Showcases Unprecedented Character Development in Red Bull Star; Claim F1 Experts

Two-time world champion Max Verstappen has recently shown unprecedented character development with his recent antics. The Red Bull star, who’s known for his loud and unapologetic nature, has lately brought out a different version of himself, believes F1 experts.

F1 experts Jack Cozens and Scott Mitchell-Malm from The Race pointed out the uncharacteristic behavior of the defending world champion, which the F1 world isn’t accustomed to. The most recent interview after the Miami GP qualification is a prime example of that.

As Charles Leclerc’s crash prematurely ended the Florida race’s qualifying session, Verstappen had to remain in P9 for Sunday’s race. However, instead of blaming it all on the Monegasque, the 25-year-old took it all on himself.

Speaking about this, the former Toro Rosso star said, “The initial problem starts with me today, I was taking the car to its limit and I made a mistake.” Admittedly, the Dutchman lost control of his RB-19 twice, which made him abort the first run.

Verstappen now learns, instead of getting “super angry”

In the latest development, the Dutch pilot revealed that he learns from a situation instead of getting angry. The driver, who’s known for his heated radio exchange, has stunned everyone with his latest admission.

When asked about his Miami GP outcome and if he’s angry or upset about it, he stated, “It’s not ideal, but there’s also no point now to be super angry or upset about it. You learn from it. You will do better again next time.”

These were almost the same words he used after he lost his win to Perez in Baku. After completing of the race, Verstappen said live on the radio about “learning a lot again.”

The Dutchman showed his class in Azerbaijan GP

Much to the surprise of the fans in general, the two-time world champion has been uncharacteristically calm after the conclusion of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix last weekend. The Red Bull ace didn’t hit out at the team despite losing the race win due to a strategic blunder.

As the Dutchman crossed the chequered flag, team principal Christian Horner jumped on the radio to discuss the blunder. However, the Red Bull ace immediately replied, “It is what it is,” instead of venting his frustration.

Furthermore, Verstappen congratulated his teammate who won the race from him, unlike the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, where the 25-year-old was unhappy about finishing second. All in all, this side of Max Verstappen has surprised fans and experts alike.
