After best friend Carlos Sainz boasted his custom-made Ferrari, Lando Norris came out with his customized McLaren 765LT Spider. The Brit reveals in McLaren’s Youtube video that he had played a huge role in making the car. At the same time, his team has left no stone unturned to give him the best of things as the 23-year-old continues to struggle on the track.
The market price of the car is listed to be $490,810. And with Norris and his boss Zak Brown dropping their signatures beneath the bonnet, the re-sale price could slightly increase.
But Norris has a lot to talk about his car. Why not? Since it’s his first custom-made car in his four-year-long F1 career. He waited around 18 months to put his hands on them, as he revealed in the video.
Lando Norris reveals his input during the customization
Norris gave an extensive look to the fans of his new car. He also talked about the things he got included in the car. Firstly, he dropped his F1 chassis number ‘four’ everywhere in the Roman numerals in several places.
He reveals that he wanted to be subtle about it by not having his LN logo over the car or his seat number in the usual numerals. He had his logo on the driver’s seat, as he said he wanted his identity to be with him while driving.
Moreover, he also pointed out that he preferred to have the whole car in carbon blue. The McLaren star reveals that he loves the carbon on his car. Therefore, the more there is, the better it is.
Will that keep him at McLaren for long?
Even with the revving beast McLaren has given to Norris, it can’t be denied that the Woking-based team has been doing poorly for the last two years.
There have been multiple rumors about Norris’ dissatisfaction. Adding to that, multiple reports of him seeking better opportunities have also come to the surface.

Even Zak Brown was questioned about such a situation with his star driver. However, the team boss shrugged off the rumors and claimed that Norris knows about McLaren’s project and would stay in the team as he believes in their ‘F1 success’ plan.
