Despite having a dismal performance in Miami GP qualification, Lewis Hamilton was spotted at a party. The Mercedes star, who’s known to be a party animal, found himself attending the GQ and Tommy Hilfiger party on Saturday night.
It is believed that the seven-time world champion arrived at the party after finishing the team debriefs, which took place after the qualifying session. Living up to his name, Hamilton donned a chequered outfit with white glasses and a timepiece, as seen in a Twitter video posted by Sir Lewis Updates.

The British driver, a global ambassador for Tommy Hilfiger, met with the dignitaries present at the party. But the most memorable one was the reunion with his long-time skiing friend Lindsey Vonn.
The 38-year-old qualified in P13 in the Florida GP weekend after he failed to get past Q2. Hamilton is to start his race on Sunday behind Nico Hulkenberg of Haas and ahead of Zhou Guanyu of Alfa Romeo.
Lewis Hamilton blamed strategy for the Q2 exit
Apart from saying that the car was difficult to drive, the Mercedes maestro also pointed fingers at the team’s strategy for the debacle. As the Silver Arrows ace is set to start the race from P13, he stated the timing from the team should be better.
As per Sky Sports, the Stevenage-born shared that Mercedes needs to have better time sense because they are not the team that they used to be.
A qualifying to forget for Lewis Hamilton 😖

By this, he meant that having a fast car and sending the car late wouldn’t matter much because the car is “likely to make it” to the next stage. But unfortunately, the W14 isn’t that fast to go blindly into the qualifying session and bring out a fine lap.
The Mercedes ace had a “difficult session” overall
The qualifying session on Saturday saw the seven-time world champion come out with his worst-ever qualification performance on American soil.
Speaking on it at the post-qualification interview, the 38-year-old said, “It was a difficult session. We’re not that quick, so we really needed perfect laps, but it was difficult to get into a rhythm.”
The British driver then added that he was waiting for his final run at the back of the pack. Being at the back, he had to slow down in the last corner, and as a result, he “lost all temperatures and couldn’t do the lap.”
