Lewis Hamilton will wear rainbow helmets in Miami
Ahead of the Miami GP, Hamilton told the reporters that he read about some of the decisions that the government made and stands in total agreement. He said, “I really do continue to stand with the LGBTQ community and I’m wearing a rainbow flag on my helmet this weekend. I just really want to continue to support the community here and let them know I stand with them and I hope they continue to fight against it.”
The move by Hamilton comes amidst Florida’s anti-LGBTQ measures. Hamilton also slammed the state’s ‘Don’t Say Gay’ law and drew parallels with the oppression in Saudi Arabia.
