Kimi Raikkonen was set to leave the Prancing Horse at the end of the 2018 season, after spending 5 seasons with the team. On his last day at work, the 2007 world champion swapped helmets with his Ferrari teammate, Sebastian Vettel. The German and he shared a great bond for 4 seasons between 2015 and 2018.
In typical Vettel fashion, the German joked about dropping the Finnish racer’s helmet. However, Raikkonen was not bothered, and claimed the helmet was fake!

Vettel too, spoke highly of his former Ferrari teammate. The driver said, “I probably had the best relationship with him because he was so straightforward. There was never an argument. If we crashed into each other, we talked about it, fixed what happened, maybe laughed about it.”
The 4x world champion claims Raikkonen was always respectful of his presence on the team. The German also claims the 2007 world champion was one of the best talents he had ever witnessed in F1.
The duo shared 15 race wins with each other while they were at Ferrari. The duo also battled Mercedes for the title in 2017 and 2018, finishing second in both seasons.
