Sergio Perez and Max Verstappen Give Contrasting Answers on Peeing Inside Their F1 Cars

Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez had very different answers for fans when they were forced to reveal if they peed inside an F1 car before. The Red Bull drivers had to answer this question as a part of F1’s newest video on their YouTube channel. All the drivers participated in a ‘Never Have I Ever‘ session. There, both Verstappen and Perez had to spill secrets about whether they peed in an F1 car before.

Whether F1 drivers pee in their race suits or not, has been an age-old question among many fans. They drive around a circuit for hours at a go, and cannot stop for bathroom breaks in between, so they could just let go when they feel the urge to visit one. However, very few drivers have admitted to urinating inside their race suits.

In the latest video on YouTube, most F1 drivers admitted to never peeing inside an F1 car, and they all have different reasons for the same. Some, however, acknowledge that it is something they have done in the past.

Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez reveal their answer

When the host asked the drivers whether they peed in their cars or not, Perez was quick to say yes. He even revealed this secret with a smile, before saying, “I’ve done it before.” On the other hand, Perez’s teammate and two-time world champion Max Verstappen, couldn’t follow suit.

Verstappen stated that he tried to in the past but couldn’t bring his head around to do it. Fellow two-time world champion Fernando Alonso and Haas driver Nico Hulkenberg too had an answer similar to Verstappen’s.

Another driver who admitted to peeing inside his car also belongs to the Red Bull set up. It is AlphaTauri star Nyck de Vries, who didn’t have any hesitation in saying yes.

Most F1 drivers join in on Verstappen’s answer

Max Verstappen said he wasn’t able to pee inside his car, even though he felt the urge to. Most of the other drivers in F1, seem to agree with the 25-year-old’s assessment. Verstappen’s best friend on the track Lando Norris, was adamant that urinating inside an F1 is “crazy.”

Alpine driver Esteban Ocon and Williams’ driver Logan Sargeant, meanwhile, feel that is not good for the mechanics. After F1 drivers vacate their car following a session, it is the mechanics and engineers who have to work on it and deal with it.

Back in Red Bull, however, it seems as though Sergio Perez and Max Verstappen share different feelings about yet another issue.
