Tired of Max Verstappen’s Dominance, Australian Actress Begs Sergio Perez “To Kick His A**”

Max Verstappen and Red Bull have dominated Formula 1 for well over a year now, which has been frustrating for a lot of neutral fans to watch. Despite F1’s push for closer racing, Verstappen’s superiority has also witnessed many many fans reconsidering their love for the sport. One of these fans is Vampire Diaries actress Claire Holt.

Last year the 2x champion win 15 out of 22 races on his way to securing his second world title. Meanwhile, in 2023, Red Bull has enjoyed an incredible winning streak, winning all eight races so far, with Verstappen bagging 6 victories.

The victory in the 2023 Canadian GP marked Red Bull’s 100th win as a constructor and the Dutchman’s 41st win, level with Ayrton Senna’s record. His dominance in F1 seems never-ending for the time being, which has angered Claire Holt.

Australian Actress hopes Sergio Perez can kick Max Verstappen’s A**

Max Verstappen’s dominance has made F1 races very predictable this season. Australian actress Claire Holt called out the sport for being boring and hopes Sergio Perez can beat his teammate. However, she did use some very harsh words to show her dissatisfaction towards Verstappen.

The actress was asked on her Instagram QnA if she still watches F1. To which she replied, “I love it, but I’m tired of Max winning all the time. I also think he’s a grouchy baby. I want Checo to kick his a**.”

She admits that she hopes his teammate Perez can challenge his teammate’s dominance. The Mexican driver, however, has come nowhere close to matching Verstappen despite driving equal machinery on the track.

While the two were separated by a mere point at one stage this season, Verstappen currently holds a 69-point lead over his teammate. Perez has succumbed to errors that have all but derailed his championship hopes and allowed the 2x world champion to enjoy no competition.

Can Sergio Perez challenge Verstappen’s dominance?

In contrast to Max Verstappen’s spotless record this season, Sergio Perez has enjoyed a lot of ups and downs. The Mexican driver started the season on a strong note, but his performances started nosediving as the season progressed.

Since the 2023 Monaco GP, Perez has had 3-straight Q3 and Q2 exits, while Verstappen has secured poles and wins in all outings. Checo went as far as blaming the RB19 for favoring the Dutchman’s style of driving.

The driver claims his focus is right now on improving his form after the sudden slump in performance. He said, “Right now, I am more concerned about my drop in performance than my place in the championship because the pace is just not there.”

Currently, Checo stands P2 in the driver’s standings with 126 points. However, the Mexican could lose this position to Fernando Alonso in the upcoming race if he suffers another horrendous weekend.

It looks unlikely that Perez can extend his challenge for the title. The driver is far from matching his teammates’ pace despite having equal machinery. As team principal Christian Horner taunted the driver, the title pressure being lifted off his shoulders means he can focus completely on settling for P2 in the world championship.
