The SpiderMan star is a huge Hamilton fan, and a very proud one as well. He has spoken a lot about his love for Hamilton and has praised the British driver during various interviews over the years.
Hamilton has always maintained a very strong work ethic. This is what has allowed him to achieve all that he has today. Hamilton won six world titles since joining Mercedes in 2013, but heartbreakingly, lost out on his seventh in 2021. Regardless, he returned for the 2022 season with the same desire and dedication, to continue on his quest for achieving even greater things in the sport.
This mighty work ethic has inspired a lot of people. George Russell was stunned by Hamilton’s dedication to working hard when he joined Mercedes. Russell was amazed to see the amount of work Hamilton actually put in behind the scenes. It thoroughly inspired him to work harder himself.
How Tom Holland gets inspired by Lewis Hamilton
Many celebrities around the world are huge fans of Hamilton and Tom Holland is of them. Holland seems to be a very dedicated Hamilton fan and even claimed that he sees the seven-time world champion as an inspiration. “I am so unbelievably impressed by his work ethic and his grace,” said the actor.
Holland also spoke about how Hamilton handled his gut-wrenching loss at the hands of Max Verstappen in Abu Dhabi. Holland was impressed to see how Hamilton handled such a heartbreak with so much dignity and grace.
“You know, I had dinner with Lewis only a few weeks ago and I think he is setting an example for so many people around the world. I mean, what happened to him at the end of the last season and his ability to lose with such grace, in the face of adversity. So he is someone I am very very impressed by. ” he added.
Tom Holland’s Formula 1 visit
Holland attended the Monaco Grand Prix last week where he proudly claimed that he was supporting Hamilton, as always. “Lewis! Always,” he said when asked about who he was backing.
Holland also had the opportunity to wave the chequered flag at the end of the race in Monaco. Even though the race was won by Max Verstappen, Holland was heard shouting “Go on Lewis” when Hamilton crossed the line in P4, behind Esteban Ocon.
However, Holland might have ended up enraging some Hamilton fans when he posed with Neymar in front of the Red Bull garage, alongside the Red Bull pit crew in Monaco.
Nevertheless, Holland remains a huge Lewis Hamilton fan, and will continue to cheer him on as long as he remains in F1.
