“We’re just as sad that you’ll have to wait a little longer to see Daniel Ricciardo” – McLaren has come up with a cheeky letter to Aussie fans disappointed to see the Australian Grand Prix postponed to November.
The traditional season-opening Australian Grand Prix has been postponed to November due to the continued havoc caused by Covid-19. This has naturally disappointed Aussie fans, who were eager to see their boy Daniel Ricciardo in his new team McLaren colors.
The fact that Daniel hasn’t even been on the podium in Australia breaks my heart, I swear he’s gonna get it in McLaren 😌

Well, the British team has done something wonderful and issued a heartfelt letter for their fans Down Under. Apart from re-affirming the fan’s support for their drivers Ricciardo and Lando Norris, the team has also asked for the dress code for November. As per Planet F1, the temperature last year was between 26 and 28 degrees centigrade, so “shorts and sunnies” would be the combo to go for!
Letter from McLaren to Australian F1 fans
“Dear Aussies,
“We’re just as sad that you’ll have to wait a little longer to see Daniel Ricciardo on home turf (not forgetting your favorite Englishman Mr. Lando Norris!) but we look forward to going back racing Down Under when it’s safe to do so.
“You guys truly rock and we hope we can see you in November!
“All the best, The McLaren Team.
“P.S. What’s the weather like in November? Should we be packing shorts and sunnies, or what?”
